This sculpture was inspired by my Aeonium Tabulaeforme succulent - commonly know as Saucer Plant due to it's flat surface. It is made of tiny individually formed segments of paper clay which are attached to a thrown base. It is glazed with a glossy transparent glaze.
 
Dimensions - this sculpture is 15cm in diameter and approximately 2.5cm thick. It has a hole in the back for hanging from a pin or nail.
