This sculpture is a smaller version of the sunburst sculpture made for the Art in the Garden exhibition at Hillier Gardens. It is made of tiny individually formed segments of paper clay which are attached to a thrown base. It is glazed to give a glossy finish.
Dimensions - this sculpture is 13.5cm in diameter and approximately 2.5cm thick.
The sculpture has a hole in the rear so it can be simply hung on a screw or nail to attach it to the wall.
This wall sculpture can be hung inside or outside the home. It is weatherproof and will withstand temperatures 1-2 degrees below freezing, however I recommend bringing inside in the coldest months if you are able to. To clean the sculptures - submerge in soapy water and gently wash with a soft brush. Rinse clean and allow to dry.
