These sculptures were inspired by lupins.  Each is made of tiny sections of paperclay mounted on a thrown conical base.  They are finished with a clear glaze giving a glossy white finish.
 
The fired clay is mounted on a steel rod which can be pushed directly into the ground.
 
These pieces are between 80 and 85cm high and the clay blooms are 20-25cm tall.
