This sculpture was inspired by daisies and sunflowers.  It is made of individually formed segments of paper clay which are attached to a thrown base.  The green tinged edges are copper oxide which is added before the final firing.
 
Dimensions - this sculpture is 15.5cm in diameter and approximately 3.5cm thick. 
 
The sculpture has a hole in the rear so it can be simply hung on a screw or nail to attach it to the wall.
 
This sculpture has a small firing crack in the base.  This has been repaired and will not effect the strength or look of the piece.  This is reflected in the price.
